Hey Will, How does one "remove" those unwanted files...printer drivers

Hi Phillip,

Will probably knows a dozen different programs for de-localizing...

I am using the shareware program called Macaroni. It works in Jaguar and Panther. It is also useful for running all the regular maintenance for Mac OSX's Unix core. Normally these tasks run on a regular schedule, in the middle of the night. However, if you don't leave you Mac on all night they never run.

Available from Version Tracker, MacUpdate or directly from Atomic Bird, at <www.atomicbird.com>. You can "test drive" it for 30 days before deciding to buy.

I don't even know what a 'De-localizer" is ??!
I've tried programs that remove unwanted apps, files etc in the past. They have all screwed things up by removing needed files etc so I don't have one to recommend. It is clearly easier to not install the files to start with. Removing many files manually can be very time consuming and also hard to know for sure what can safely be removed.
I've not tried Macaroni but may since Nancy has recommended it. I've used "Mac janitor" for regular maintenance and like it. It has no file removing features. Will S
