I don't even know what a 'De-localizer" is ??!
All those extra language files that get installed with OSX without you requesting them. (aka bloat)
Macaroni allows you to pick-and-choose which languages to keep and which to pitch.
I've tried programs that remove unwanted apps, files etc in the past. They have all screwed things up by removing needed files etc so I don't have one to recommend. It is clearly easier to not install the files to start with. Removing many files manually can be very time consuming and also hard to know for sure what can safely be removed.
I used Macaroni to remove all the extra printer drivers from Lexmar, Epson, etc. from my laptop, which does not have a very large hard drive. Between the extra language files and the printer drivers it did free up a bunch of space.
I've not tried Macaroni but may since Nancy has recommended it. I've used "Mac janitor" for regular maintenance and like it. It has no file removing features.
I was using Mac Janitor for a while, but did not remember to run it as often as I probably should have. With Macaroni, you can set it to regularly run the daily, weekly, monthly UNIX maintenance. It will even run Permission Repairs on a regular basis too.
I have been using Macaroni on three different machines for about a month now, and have zero complaints about it. I will definitely pay the shareware fees to continue using it.
