(OSx.2.8) It is in my Beige 266 where it appears to be mostly happy except that there doesn't seem to be that much of a performance boost without the cache on. I used Ryan's L2CacheConfig but may be experiencing the bug where the software says it's on, but it's not. Either that or the wrong value is stored in the file, but I thought that would make the machine crash instead of not turn the cash on.
I'm going to look at other software, but hope I don't have to boot into 9 again. I have a hard time doing that for some reason. It took hours to get there and then back into X. I had to remove all the cards and RAM and most of the drives and add them back in once I got it to boot reliably again. I know that the question is off topic as the machine is a real Mac, but it has just joined the "legacy" group and now has some of the same problems as the Umaxes.
