This is a G4 450 overclocked to 533 from MacSales.
(OSx.2.8) It is in my Beige 266 where it appears to be
mostly happy except that there doesn't seem to be that
much of a performance boost without the cache on. I
used Ryan's L2CacheConfig but may be experiencing the
bug where the software says it's on, but it's not.
Either that or the wrong value is stored in the file,
but I thought that would make the machine crash
instead of not turn the cash on.

I'm going to look at other software, but hope I don't
have to boot into 9 again. I have a hard time doing
that for some reason. It took hours to get there and
then back into X. I had to remove all the cards and
RAM and most of the drives and add them back in once I
got it to boot reliably again.

I know that the question is off topic as the machine
is a real Mac, but it has just joined the "legacy"
group and now has some of the same problems as the
Umaxes.
