Paul and group, GREAT news!!

Somehow in all the cuda resets the rear audio port has come alive!! I
really do not understand the audio section of the Marathon / S900... Again
my configuration has a factory (it appears) jumper across pins 1and 3 of the
6 pin Audio header (front of MB). The rear audio port feeds a mini-to RCA
splitter to a preamp (which appears to work now!)

So far, am pleased with this machine, although it can be finicky to make the
S900's run on the latest software and hardware.

For the list information:

S900 (Marathon RackMac) - Sonnet G4 / 450 *DO NOT TRY A G4 / 800* it will
not work in 10.2 or 10.3.
CPU Director 1.5f2 - J38 also jumpered to remove onboard cache
256 mb OWC interleaved (2*128 FPM)
Radeon 7000 Mac Edition (slot A)
Linksys Wireless G (slot B)
Keyspan 1.1 USB (slot C) w/ D-Link Bluetooth
Belkin 10/100 Ethernet (slot D)
Acard 133 (slot E)
- channel 1 - WD 6gb Master (OS 9 Boot), DVD drive Slave
- channel 2 - Quantum 80gb Master (Panther 10.3.3)

I will note: The linksys MUST be removed for DVD playback, otherwise it
does stutter about ~ 10 minutes or so.

Now to see if a 5.1 card will work!!
