A couple comments on the Twin turbo card:

The non-apple TwinTurbo cards without a factory-installed moveable
jumper can be modified to have one, if you're handy with a soldering
iron. I have a picture of the mode on my web page.

Also, when booting OSX this card will not display the apple logo
correctly (shows a bunch of vertical strips), but when OSX is up and
running, it works just fine from there on.

As Will said, there are many variants of this card out there, so YMMV.

I am currently running jaguar (10.2.8) on an upgraded (G3/450) S900 with
this Twin Turbo, an Atto UW SCSI controller, and no IDE drives, so it IS
possible.

To echo another poster's comments, get as much RAM as you can, these are
still a great bargain:

 From macsales.com (OWC)
128MB Mac 5V EDO 168 Pin DIMMs just $17.50 while they last.

I have 8 of these in my S900 and 1GB of RAM doesn't suck. Remember to
turn off the startup memory tests once you're sure your memory is
operating properly, with this much RAM, it takes about 4-5 minutes to
startup otherwise.

Good luck!
