Mark. I suggest you do a couple things.Audio files
tend to be huge and you appear to be recording entire
sides and letting Spin Dr separate the tracks for you.
I don't know how much RAM or disk space you have, but
make sure you have enough of both to do the job.
Try upping the RAM for the application. I don't know
if the application needs to hold all of the recording
in RAM or not, but if it does, the way you're doing it
requires a lot more than recording each track
separately. And having the software locate breaks may
even double the RAM required.
Also make sure that the disk you record to has enough
space to hold at least one if not more copies of the
files you record.
There's a neat little program called Coaster that will
split tracks on the fly you might consider using. It
splits the tracks with a single click as the recording
gets made. Let me know if you can't find it.
