Hi all-- I have an archived email about transferring vinyl LPs to iTunes compatible files. However, the suggested input program, SoundRecorder, does not exist on download.com any longer. It appears its a Windows only binary:-(. I've got a pile of vinyl and good to excellent 70s quality analog equipment (Marantz & Sanyo) picked up for next to nothing at garage sales and am quite itchy to get going. Anybody have any further insights to the xfer process and/or a link to a good Mac friendly input program? I think Final Vinyl only works with the Griffin USB dongle and I'm simply going into the mic input. I'm trying to avoid any further purchases of equipment for the time being. Pax,

A poster on the CMUG list recently suggested these two. One is free and seems to do what you desire. They both are for OSX.
