Until the demise Toast Spin Doctor system I used to record vinyl all the
time.

Go to Radio Shack and get at least one RCA to mini stereo plug six foot
cables. I actually have two, one input and one output plugged into my tape 2
jacks on my Kenwood KVR-A90R.

My s900 is now the TAPE-2 deck with this stereo receiver. I have a Kenwood
direct drive turntable, dual tape deck and CD player. The s900 is part of
this stereo settup.

I have a problem with the internal speaker and for about a year I haven't
been able to get the damn Toast to work, but when it did, it was great.

I used Spin Doctor 1.0 for all recording and sound processing and Adaptec's
Toast 4.12 to burn the CDs. All of which ran under 8.6.

Since the speaker fried Spin Doctor won't hand off to Toast. It used to work
great. Somebody in the group turned me on to something called Coaster which
has a few nice features Spin Doctor doesn't have.

Assuming there is nothing wrong with your computer, you shouldn't have any
trouble using your computer as a tape deck connected to receiver's jacks
using the RCA to stereo mini plug cables. There is nothing to it, just keep
your input and output straight.

Personnally, I don't know how to fix my computer. I upgraded a bunch of
stuff with no result. Toast works fine to record data. It's just the handoff
from Spin Doctor that crashes everything.

Good Luck
Mark Murphy
