Well, those of the faithful remnant, most blessed and thrice exalted,
it appears to these sad eyes that the Elect and Chosen One of this
tribe at the Pastor Mac residence, known to all who have beheld eyes
upon it, the great and illustrious Umax C600x, known far and wide as
the Supermac, blessed be the great Steve, has drawn its last earthly
breath and has departed this sin cursed world for the joy and bliss of
silicon heaven, to be united in all eternity with the Mac 128k, in the
place where all forms of Windows look in with a longing that can never
be fulfilled and dread the coming of the Blue Screen of Death, where
there is no escape but a reboot. May this day be known as a day when
the Woz burns in our hearts knowing that as this dear departed Mac has
given forth its last bit, even greater bits flow out of even faster
registers and floating point units will cascade forth in the next
Keynote. (Hail Steve) Truly great days lay ahead as the prophets of
Cupertino, with Ive carefully molding and shaping complex metals and
plastics into the shape of things to come, bear witness to the glimpse
of the days ahead when Airport and Quicktime move us and the Knowledge
Base reveals all we need to know.
Let us take a moment and remember our dear departed Supermac.
May the grace of Steve, the love of Ive and the fellowship of the Woz
be with you always. Amen.
