I ran the s900 for couple years (and can continue to do so when it's reactivated) operating a printer (serial port) and connecting to DSL via the built-in 10-baseT port, which was fed by a router.
The s900 networked fine through the router with the recent additions to the family computers.
Can you clarify if what I've been doing fits "use both the Ethernet and Appletalk ports" - I do see that you mentioned "on the card".
Reason I ask is when I reactivate the s900, it will be with a AsanteFAST 10/100baseT card that was removed from another s900.
