What OS are you running? Prior to OS 9 audio from a CD required a seperate audio cable. The one on an Apple CD wasn't the same as on the Supermac so an adaptor was needed. From OS9 onwards audio is handled by SCSI so no extra cable is needed. What CD drivers are you using? The Appled ROM'ed CD should work fine with the Apple CD drivers. There are several extensions in the CD Control Panel, are they all set properly? Paul C
