Hi,

I have just installed an Adaptec 2940U2B in my S900 and experiencing some difficulties. I have the following config:

Slot 1 : ATI Radeon 7000 Mac edition
Slot 2: ADS Dual Link Fw/USB

Slot 5: 2940U2B

The SCSI drive attached to the SCSI card formatted and worked for a while but upon trying to reformat, have had the system hang or simply take ages to do anything with the drive. It is a Seagate 36GB 80 pin Ultra320 SCSI. Do I need any drivers for this card?

I am not sure if these cards are sitting in the correct slots. I have read elsewhere that the SCSI and video cards MUST be in the upper slots, but am not sure if the FW/USB card can go in any of the lower slots.

Thanks in advance,
Greg Giannis

The unbeliveable is unfortunately annoyingly commonplace these days with all the bone jarring booming/thumping coming out of cars with monster audio systems.
