Hi,
I have an S900 connected to an AppleVision 17" monitor running OS9.1 with a Radeon
7000 Mac Edition video card. This morning I turned on the machine and the monitor
diaplay is black except for a thin vertical strip of light. Has it reached the end of its life,
or is this a known problem. I have electronics experience so if it is a known faulty
component I could have a go at fixing. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Greg G

If you know what you're doing, it's a soldering iron repair. If NOT, then find a paid
tech. It should be a simple fix.
