The Vertical (or is that Horizontal?) Sweep pieces/parts. I don't use a schematic, so I just flip the monitors on their glass on top of a soft towel and with a very strong light source, go looking for loose or dull solder spots all over the bottom of the analog board. I resolder anything that even remotely looks suspicious.


If you want a more precise method, find the schematic and solder around the sweep
circuits I mentioned above.


You KNOW the usual dire safety warnings are assumed, here. The voltage in a color
monitor's components is deadly.
