How can I access those hard drives? I don't have another machine that I can install them in. Is there any other way to clear them off and keep them usable for the next person?
Are you able to boot from a CD ?
If so and you can't see the HD even with Disk First Aid and such, then I would remove the HD and sell the s900 driveless.
Or, the easiest would be to just remove the HD.
That's what I would do.
For most folks looking to buy an s900, this would not be a major issue but only if there is a way to confirm the motherboard is still functioning.
When you said the new motherboard helped somewhat but can't get it to boot up, did you mean you were able to boot up the machine at least with a CD but can't see the HD ?
