Good article!

I personally haven't experienced any problems with mixing HFS and HFS+
together (that was a while back, now everything is HFS+). The transition did
have it's share of headaches for some people however. I know some older
external audio interfaces would only record to HFS, not HFS+, for example.
Also, there were anecdotal reports regarding mixing Apple HD drivers and FWB
drivers, but not everyone who did mix them (ie using different HD drivers on
different drives within the same system) had problems. Sometimes there are
just too many variables to nail down a simple "this is the fix".

Could you restate the issue you were having/question you were asking? I've
just come into the thread and must have deleted your original post.
