Hello all, I've been away for quite a while. My S900 is still spinning along meeting all of my needs with 9.1 and a G4/375 with an SIIG ultra 133/100 dual port eide PCI card and PCI firewire card, and USB 1.0.
My Pioneer DVD-RW DVR 106D is a scsi and just won't burn for me anymore. I'm tired of messing with it and want to put in a new one. My question: I don't see many scsi burners out there any more and wonder if I could put an eide DVD burner on my card as a slave to a hard drive? Or should I just look for a replacement burner just like the one that isn't working for me (scsi)? Does anyone have any recommendations for me on a good replacement burner?
