I'm going to change the old machine's name to Lazarus - it just came back from the dead!

It's still just running 9.1 on the old UMAX processor, but it's the first activity in nearly a week. And always before, once I got it to boot anywhere, I've been able to bring it back to the present day.

Thanks, John and Antonio. Not being patient enough to try just one thing at a time, I don't know what the turning point was, but my guess is that it was pulling the battery.
