In 2.0 it will also display the long name for the network card plus the driver name. This was a often requested feature.
Also helps to tell different version of the same driver cards apart from each other.
It is named after drivers, so if you have NICs that are not using the same driver, it is rather easy. If no, use the auto-detection... I think
