I don't think the data rate was very high - the resolution was low (32x608) and the framerate was only ~50fps. The 60 second files only end up being around 5.6 MB. What I would try to test first is if the camera CPU has enough resources to handle the data rate. Does the problem go away if you reduce image quality (and so the frame size in bytes)?
