You could try.

* comment the modules that are not used - in 359's simulation 3 sensors are
instantiated for example.
* some models like DDR and DCM can be simplified.
* decrease the simulation time - try to use smaller frame sizes.

Well, this might make the simulation just take less time (in using all the
laptop's resources). As for memory consumption, it depends on the simulator
realization, I think.
