I second this. Especially since SM 2.0 may seem less familiar to you

Back-up your profile, just in case. Uninstall Mozilla 1.7.13, then
install SeaMonkey 1.1.14.

Yes for 1.1.14. Not so certain with SM 2.0, depending on your
configuration.
SeaMonkey uses the exact same profile format, so it will start using
them as normal.
Can I keep using Mozilla in parallel?
I think you can, but it's better to not do that.
You may try; it should work, but before, backup your profile in case of
problem.
