Even though SM 1.1.x and FF 2 use the same version of the Gecko
rendering engine they do not share the same frontend code. The search
functionality is one example, FF supports OpenSearch (A9 icon on
Mycroft) while SM only supports Sherlock (Apple icon on Mycroft). To
this date that even applies to SM 2 preview versions; the relevant bug
number is 410613.
