While that will work; it is better (now) to install from the Unbuntu
repositories via adobe-flashplugin and then create a symbolic link to
the libflashplayer.so. That way when flash gets updated (via the update
manager) you don't have to copy the libflashplayer.so to the .plugins
directory again.
