In the m.s.screenshots group all I see is a picture posted by you, and
you ask what does that setting do.
Michael provided you with an answer to the question that you asked. Or
are you suggesting that reg has contacted you by some other means asking
that question??
And as a side not, looking just at your reply to Michael, I would have
had no idea what you were talking about, had I not just read Michaels
post. It is normally requested here that you at least include the text
of the previous message that is relevant to your reply.

Jim was actually asking how to do the markup for the shot.
Reg had originally posted the image in response to an issue that was
being discussed
Jim wanted to know HOW (or what software) was used to create the 'extra'
marks, circles/ovals and such
Alas Jim didnt include the newsgroup in which the discussion was to take
place. I suggest he re-read the FAQ posted in the group.
I think we have hit the nail on the head as far as the intended
communication was created and replied to, however it looks like the
original question has not been answered.
When I create a screen shot image for support I us a neat program called
SnagIt, this allow me to capture the whole screen, or just a small
section of the screen, and then open the SnagIt Editor to add markers
and text to highlight the support instructions.
