Sorry, I didn't realise that you also use linux (I just looked at your web page). An easy way to add multiple engines (including Yahoo) is to download and older deb of FireFox, extract the /usr/share/firefox/searchplugins out of the data.tar.gz and then copy files from that searchplugins folder your your seamonkey/searchplugin folder.
