On a Mac, the install is accomplished simply by mounting the disk image, then dragging the application icon to the Applications folder, or other location.
Note other location. It is perfectly simple to run both SM 1.1.18 and 2.0 on a Mac. Just create a new folder within Application for SM 2.0. Drag the icon into that folder, so that SM 1.1.18 is not overwritten.
Since the profile is migrated to a new location, you can easily run both application, and set either one as defatil for browser, Mail/News, or both.
