I've downloaded a .pdf of my electric bill but my Adobe Reader nor my
Adobe Acrobat Full version will open the file. I'm using SM2.
When I check the file properties it states "This file came from another
computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." How to I
turn this off?
I can Unblock the file in file properties but it still won't open. The
error I get there is "Adobe Reader could not open xx.pdf because it is
either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged
(for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly
decoded).
I just saved a tax file .pdf from the IRS web page and it got the same
block on it but when I Unblocked it, it does open so maybe it's my
electric company, which wouldn't be surprising.
Is there a way to tell SM2 to stop blocking access to these downloaded
.pdf files?
