Could it be your Anti Virus software and not SM that is blocking it?
There have been a run on Add based drive by virus lately that come from
an Acrobat Exploit. Given this it sounds like it may be your AV program.
As to the file you can't open. Right click on it. How many bytes is it.
That one sounds like it may be no good since you were able to eventually
read the other one.
One way to trouble shoot both of these is to try to NOT open this in
Seamonkey and instead to RMB (Right Mouse Button) and Save Link as to
your desk top or some other place. If you can then open it with Acrobat
it may be Seamonkey, if you can't it is somewhere else.

I've downloaded a .pdf of my electric bill but my Adobe Reader nor my
Adobe Acrobat Full version will open the file. I'm using SM2.
When I check the file properties it states "This file came from another
computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." How to I
turn this off?
I can Unblock the file in file properties but it still won't open. The
error I get there is "Adobe Reader could not open xx.pdf because it is
either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged
(for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly
decoded).
I just saved a tax file .pdf from the IRS web page and it got the same
block on it but when I Unblocked it, it does open so maybe it's my
electric company, which wouldn't be surprising.
Is there a way to tell SM2 to stop blocking access to these downloaded
.pdf files?
