My memory is that a workaround was required when one wanted to have SM

Does SM v.2.x also require some sort of a workaround if one desires it
to be installed in a HD partition other than c:\? If so, where do I
find
the instructions for the workaround?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

You can choose during setup where to install Seamonkey, this mght be
every partition you like.
The only thing left on C: will be your profile then, if you want that of
another partition too then copy/move it there while SM is closed, call
the ProfileManager of SM, create a profile and point it to that
directory where you copied/moved your profile to.

Henrik, perhaps Martin should have mentioned that, to "choose during
setup where to install Seamonkey", you have to select to do a custom
installation rather than letting SeaMonkey do a standard installation
(which WILL install SM to the C:)

Ah, of course, thanks for completing that point.

Then, as Martin suggests, you can copy/move/paste the old profiles into
the new profile.

I've got your back, Martin....hopefully, someone's got mine!!
