I thought you (some developer?) said it had to be accepted by Firefox

It depends on what it does, and Firefox/platform people are just about
as appreciative of someone working to improve their code than we are.
And a number of the things requested of the form manager are probably
things that need to be implemented in SeaMonkey code in any case.
First, a specific thing the code should do needs to be identified, a bug
filed, then the code needs to be written, and depending on where the
code changes are located, it needs review from platform or SeaMonkey
people to get in.
We are friends with the Firefox and Mozilla platform teams, and we know
they are just as grateful of people helping to improve their code as we
are. There are even acknowledged bug reports and feature requests on
their side of forms and password management that just are lacking
someone to work on them, and which would help all of us.

If I could get back into SM 1.1.18 without downloading any email or news
post I'd take screen shots of what went on in the Forms manager.
You had a Common screen of information That was duplicated for each
website you want to that needed information filled out and anew page was
created for each website needing filled out but maybe some needed credit
card numbers, other not some needed in addition Fax or cel numbers
others not. They were created the first time you filled in a Form then
next time the forms manager would fill it out. You could go into the
Manger and go through the various pages created and and if you had type
something wrong you could correct it. basically it worked like FileMaker
Relational databases
I could create a Dummy FileMaker File with all the necessary form items
and then Take screen shots, or even send the the FileMaker Database to
give some idea of how the old one worked.
Or you could actually open a copy of 1.1.18 go to Forms Manager and see
for yourself.
We are not interested in the Code. But what the code did. You can do
that by just opening the old forms Manager and looking around.
