When I click an email link on a web page in Seamonkey 2.0.3, it
brings up the Seamonkey email client, which then asks me to create an
account. The program I use for email is Thunderbird, and that's what
is shown under Helper Apps. How do I get SM to bring up T-bird
instead?
One other piece of info: the mimetypes.rdf file was copied and pasted from
the existing Firefox 3.5.8 into the Seamonkey profile. When an email link is
clicked in FF, it brings up T-bird.
Roger, SeaMonkey Browser is exactly the same program as SeaMonkey Mail &
News....there is no need for a helper, it's already there.
Prior to SM 2, you were able to do a Custom installation which allowed
you to select/de=select which bits of SM you wanted, except for the
Browser, you must have it installed. In SM 2 that option is no longer
available!
