Hi guys. Am still enjoying my SM 1.1.16 with Windows HP Home on my Acer
laptop computer.

(1) Re Inbox. Wasn't there once a 'Wrap to window' command? Someone
replied to an email of mine which quoted my original email at the
bottom. It ran off the page on the right for several screen-widths.
There wasn't even a lateral slider to quickly look at the quoted
message. (I had to use a moving cursor to propel the message across the
screen.)

There is a (re)wrap option when you reply to a mail. In the Preferences > Mail & Newsgroups > Message Display you have also a check box for wrapping text to fit window width, for plain text messages.

(2) Even now, some websites display in the SM browser with overlapping
text or overlapping text and images or overlapping images (you get the
idea). Will SM's browser NEVER be fully compatible with the Microsoft
browser for which such pages are evidently designed?

Eehh? SM works toward compatibility with the standards, not towards any other browser.

You should reverse the question to "will Miocroft's browser NEVER be fully compatible with the STANDARDS". And ask that question in a Microsoft forum or newsgroup! ;)
