Those updates that happen automatically are only security updates and
never will disable any add-ons.
A message briefly appeared that showed "Checking for addon/extension
compatibility with 2.05". Does that mean it won't install the update if
it isn't compatible with any extensions I'm using? Or does it mean it
will install itself, then disable the extension(s)?
My laptop has not updated automatically. I have it set for "don't check
for updates automatically" - is that the reason? I definitely DO NOT
want it to update automatically at any time, as I'm using mobile
broadband with limited bytes/month, and I don't want to over my allotment.
