Would be a nice built in Menu feature, if I'm not missing something...

...ok...I just did it by manipulating files within my Profile.

Nevermind...

I have several Usenet accounts, and even of late with the spamming here and here-abouts, I've often thought it would be useful to have just one set of filters that apply to each and every account!!
...

Set the filters for the news server (news.mozilla.org) rather than the
group (mozilla.support.seamonkey). That way they apply across all groups
on the server. Example (msgFilterRules.dat):
version="9"
logging="yes"
name="NNTP-Posting-Host: 189.155.224.4"
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"nntp-posting-host\",contains,189.155.224.)"
name="201.79.90.37"
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"nntp-posting-host\",contains,201.79.90.)"
name="NNTP-Posting-Host: 71.188.113.235"
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"nntp-posting-host\",is,71.188.113.235)"
name="NNTP-Posting-Host: 70.107.14.127"
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"nntp-posting-host\",contains,70.107.14.127)"
name="NNTP-Posting-Host: 201.79.6.39"
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"newsgroups\",contains,201.79.6.)"
name="Organization: http://groups.google.com";
enabled="yes"
type="20"
action="Delete"
condition="AND (\"organization\",contains,groups.google.com)"

...hmmmnn...next question - can I specify an Account Server by it's IP address instead of using it's name?
