I said "plugins" e.g. Flash Player.plugin. I didn't say anything about
extensions.

Gonna have to give me some more info - it doesn't look like I have any
Add-ons installed, only Plugins as listed.

What info specifically do you want? Give me an example of the spec...

I want you to go to the Plugins tab of the Addons Manager and disable
all the plugins there (perhaps with the exception of Flash) as an
experiment. If your crashes stop, then re-enable the plugins one by one
every few days until the crashes come back.

Phil

Ok...I've got ALL of my plugins disabled except Flash and Shockwave (as of the 29th), and I got a new cluster of crashes tonight, one night after the last cluster - recent history below:

Once again, a reboot got SM stable enough to use this install to make this post.

After reboot, I had the following files in a Recovered Items folder in my Trash - a "plugtmp" folder with "plugin-300x250.swf" and "plugin-728_ink.swf" files in it.

In the recent cluster of 11/30/10 crashes the crash reason listed is -

EXC_BAD_ACCESS / KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE

for all of them, and the Signature is -

_moz_cairo_pattern_destroy

...but this isn't anything like what is listed for the others. At least two of these crashes occurred on SM restart attempts, the rest occurred on opening Mail/News. As I recall...

Only next step I can think of would be to completely destroy/wipe this install and rebuild everything...none of my other SM installs on either of my two other machines are behaving this way - just my MacBook Pro.

And it's getting damn annoying...
