If you have the same problem in more than one profile, then the cause is
probably system-wide (unless you installed the same add-ons in your new
profile).

One thing that is system-wide is plugins. Go to Help-->About_Plugins.
From the resulting page, tell us what plugins are listed.

This does seem to be recurring every couple days or so - generally a
reboot will get it to stop, but this time I removed the SM app I had
installed, re-downloaded and reinstalled. The last swarm of crashes
happened after a wake from Sleep.

Plugins installed:

DefaultPlugin.plugin
MRJPlugin.plugin
QuickTime Plugin.plugin
Flash Player.plugin
JavaPlugin2_NPAPI.plugin
Silverlight.plugin
Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.plugin
Google Earth Web Plug-in.plugin
RealPlayer Plugin.plugin
DivXBrowserPlugin.plugin
DirectorShockwave.plugin
huludesktop.webplugin
iPhotoPhotocast.plugin

Are these from about:plugins or from the Mac OS X plaugins folder?

In SeaMonkey, go to Tools-->Add-ons_Manager, to open the Add-ons Manager.
Select the Plugins panel.
For each plugin you do not use on a daily basis, select it, and click [Disable].

If SeaMonkey no longer crashes, you can start re-enabling plugins one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the crashes.
