Search for wmv & you should find the setting for 'Windows Media
Audio/Video file (video/x-ms-wmv) or similar. If there, select the
'Action' dropdown and select 'Other' & select whatever you want to play
that file type. If it's not there, then you might try renaming and/or
editing mimeTypes.rdf.

Note that helper applications/mimetypes are typically a result of what
you have set in your OS. What application opens/plays wmv on the system
if you play an individual file of that type outside of SeaMonkey? Is
that application listed in your about:plugins plugins? (Tools|Add-on
Manager|Plugins)? Compare with your other systems.
