In SM 1119, I can go to

A box pops up for Helper Applications
There is a button for New Type.
I click that, then box pops up wanting info for the new type.

Description = movie
Extension = wmv
Below that is what to do.
I set mine to open with the app of my choice and location.
In my case its: C:\Program Files\MPLAYERC.EXE.
Then click ok and out.
Hopefully your SM is somewhat similar.
That would be nice, but the ability to add or delete helper apps
doesn't exist[*] in SM 2.0.12.

Thanks for that info. IMO, another reason for me
to stick with 1119.
I can verify what Lee said, no add file type in 2.0.11 :(
Maybe the 'about' thing in the browser URL window would allow me to add
file types without playing with Java code. Have to research that.

In SM 2.0.11, how about Edit->Preferences->Browser->Helper Applications.
Does that do whats needed??
