Until recently and certainly after the new build of SM I had no
problems. I downloaded a program to identify and delete duplicate files
- sri I don't remember the name. Since then if I attempt to open any
website from SM I get the blue screen of death. The error message is
PAGE_FOUND_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. I have un and re installed SM but with no
change. If anyone can sort this for me a serious donation to charity
will be given.

Have you:

1. Tried another browser
2. Created a new profile - see if the same thing happens

Firefox works without problems.

Not yet

Uninstall SM, just the program files will be removed, not the profile.
Then re-install SM.

It's also possible that SM is installing a file or two in a corrupted
location on your HD, therefore the BSOD. Do a disk scan, etc. prior to
re-installation.

sri for being difficult but I am not in the first flush of youth! I have run System Mechanic with no identified problems so can you tell me what else to try?#
