With SeaMonkey 2.0.14 and earlier versions, bookmark folders in

How can I get that appearance now?
If you just want bookmarks to be shown in the browser where you noramlly
see websites (or as a start page), then just use
chrome://communicator/content/bookmarks/bm-panel.xul

No, I want to see them as an HTML page. I sometimes want to copy the
text title, not the URI. I want all the folders to be expanded. I want
to see recently visited bookmarks in the same color (red) as recently
visited links.
IIRC, we were told a while back that adding
"browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML" = TRUE to about:config would rewrite
the current "bookmarks.html" every time SM was started or stopped (one
or the other, CRS).
It's not _exactly_ the instantaneous updates we get with 2.0.*, but it's
better than nothing.
Disclaimer: I've not used any of the 2.1 betas, so I have no idea if
this promised functionality exists or works. -JW
