Also worth looking into OS settings that will affect all programs. For example, right-click the desktop, choose Properties, "Settings" tab, "Advanced" button, DPI setting: custom setting: 200% (192 pixels per inch) instead of the default 100% (96 pixels per inch).

Unfortunately, some programmers hard-code the size of their dialog boxes, so if you increase the font size you can't see the end of the text and you can't increase the size of the box.
