Correct.
Why not at least add a list of post upgrade checks which the upgrader
should do to verify the upgrade proper completion? and a list of manual
work around fixups to the release notes.

(Until I come up with a better versioning scheme, the 2.1 FAQ applies to

The above bookmarking issue is among those addressed there.
