Any site that logs you in will save the resulting data in a cookie, so
begin by clearing your cookies (if you have SM set to accept only
session cookies, restarting it will clear all cookies). If you want to
keep your other cookies but just delete those from this site, go to
Tools | Cookie Manager | Manage Stored Cookies (this option is only
available in a browser window, not in a mail window). Select the site
from the list on the left and delete its cookies from the list on the
right.

If that doesn't help, look for the site under Tools | Password Manager |
Manage Stored Passwords. If you select the site from the list on the
left, you should see a full URL and username on the right. Delete the
entry on the right and you should be forced to reenter your username.

Huh? Usenet/newsgroup (NSPs) services doesn't use cookies. I am just
using SM2's Mail and News client. Not web sites.

So why do you have to log in?

Extra security when I am not using it.

Just set your account up to not ask for Authentication when connecting
to the server. See ServerSettings.

I do NOT want to have SM2 memorize it forever. I will let memorize it per SM session. If I exit it, then it will forget and ask me again next time I use Giganews. I do this too many web sites and e-mail accounts too.

I also thought you were referring to the Giganews website.

Nope, its NSP.
