I'm not sure what that message from Zone Alarm means. But "Plug In
Container" is the (separate) application that we use to run in browser
plugins, like Flash, Silverlight, etc.
If you don't experience weird behavior on your websites you visit when
you deny this then I don't think the behavior it was trying was necessary.

Is it possible the Plug-in Container is trying to check for plug-in updates?
