It's a troubleshooting tool. If you're having a problem with SeaMonkey and are at a loss about the cause, running SeaMonkey with add-ons disabled will help determine if the cause of the problem is an add-on.
Thanks Chris for the polite answer about my problem and about 'top posting'. I happen to like top posting (now that I know what it is called) because you see the subject of the reply before the reply...
I was able to print after I did the 'restart with Add-ons disabled'. I guess now I just have to figure out which one, by deleting them one by one and testing the print. When I have the time, I'll try it.
