It's a troubleshooting tool. If you're having a problem with SeaMonkey
and are at a loss about the cause, running SeaMonkey with add-ons
disabled will help determine if the cause of the problem is an add-on.
Thanks Chris for the polite answer about my problem and about 'top
posting'. I happen to like top posting (now that I know what it is
called) because you see the subject of the reply before the reply...
I was able to print after I did the 'restart with Add-ons disabled'. I
guess now I just have to figure out which one, by deleting them one by
one and testing the print. When I have the time, I'll try it.
Thanks again for your help.
It would also help if you would reply directly to the message in
question instead of starting a new thread. We now have one thread about
your one issue broken into five or six separate pieces, making it hard
for someone who comes along later to follow and learn from it.
Sometimes you do reply in the same thread, and sometimes you don't, so
it must be possible in your setup to preserve the threading.
Don't ever think I've ever seen such a diplomatically phrased reply in a
newsgroup before, Paul. Nice job.
To the OP, hey, take notice!!!
