Do you have SM installed under Win 7 ?
I do, and I have to kill it approximately once per day.
This is a clean install, on a virgin Windows 7,
with an absolute minimum of add-ons and extensions
and no themes.
What locks it is that ****** "Find as you type", which
I abhor. Could we /please/ have an option not to start
the search until the user has confirmed that the search
string is as he/she intended by hitting <return> ?
I already have my own version of Google, to inhibit
this insane behaviour, which is now becoming ubiquitous :
Windows 7, Google, Seamonkey -- what next ?

Under win 7 I have heard of issues that depend upon whether
there are more than a single user and the s/w is installed
for only one user. The issue is whether the installation
is under the user application data or under program files.
