I just tried disabling GoDaddy as a CA in Seamonkey & it works for me.

How did you disable it?

I did edit / preferences / privacy & security / certificates / manage
certificates / authorities / select the godaddy root certificate
authority / edit trust & removed all check marks.  Tried
https://startpage.com & it worked!?  hrmm..  look again & in addition
to the godaddy.com, inc there's a the go daddy group, inc.  Removed
the trust checkmarks for those two, try https://startpage.com & get
the connection untrusted page; click on i understand the risks / add
exception / confirm exception.
