Mark, at a guess, I bet you have already made yourself a news account!!
SeaMonkey has a problem in that, once a News account has been made, it
thinks all further accounts will be News accounts.
To fix this, remove your News accounts, create the required Mail account
and then re-make your News accounts.
The SeaMonkey Council is looking into fixing this problem.
